We use cobalt-free lithium iron phosphate batteries, which are four times safer than commonly used NMC batteries. Furthermore, a specially designed circuit further enhances safety by independently monitoring and switching battery cells. In the event of a malfunction, the battery cell will shut down within 0.0002 seconds. This virtually eliminates the risk of fire and explosion. After shutdown, the entire system voltage is below the safe voltage, thus avoiding any risk to installers during maintenance.

Since the asgoft energy storage system outputs AC voltage directly, an inverter on the battery side is unnecessary, eliminating a significant cost factor. This means that for retrofitting, only the Smart home grid energy storage is needed for the existing PV system, without the additional inverter for the battery. For new installations, you only need a standard PV inverter for the PV system instead of a hybrid inverter. This saves both money and effort.
